Welcome
September is always an exciting time for academic libraries. Fall 2004 will be even busier than usual at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Libraries.
On Sept. 24, the Council of Atlantic University Libraries will hold their meetings on our campus as will the OCLC Canada Advisory Council from Sept. 27-28. This convergence provides us with an excellent opportunity to offer a program that is sure to present a wealth of interesting perspectives and diverse opinions about the current and future direction of the online serials ecosystem.
We invite you to join us and to contribute to the discussions on the complex transition from print to electronic journals. An outstanding group of speakers have agreed to share their expertise and I am confident that attendees will gain some valuable insights that will form the basis for future planning.
We look forward to seeing you in Fredericton!
