r. Lance Ceaser: A graduate of the University of New Brunswick's imperilled creative writing graduate program. The things we is from his manuscript All Things Fall Apart.

Meira Cook: She is a Winnipeg poet. The sequence of poems appearing here is part of a forthcoming collection with Brick Books entitled Toward a Catalogue of Falling. (Which will be available at all finer book stores.)

Bill Gaston: Amateur funny-man planning to turn pro (send liquor).
His most recent publications include East of Jesus' Beans, a collection of poetry; The Cameraman, a novel; and The Yardsale, a play.

Don McKay: He is currently a poetry and creative writing professor at the University of New Brunswick and QWERTY's Guru-in-Residence. His collections of poetry include Lightening Bait; Birding, or desire; Sanding Down this Rocking Chair on a Windy Night; and Night Field (for which he won the Governor General's Award for Poetry).

John Steffler: Newfoundland writer John Steffler's books include The Afterlife of George Cartwright, The Wreckage of Play, and the Grey Islands. He was shortlisted for the 1995 BIC/Smith Books First Novel Prize.

Richard Whitters: He is responsible for QWERTY's cover illustration. (Click here to view the truncated web-version.) He is originally from Suffex, New Brunswick and is currently studying at the Craft College in Fredericton.
