QWERTY's Contributors:

Stephanie Bolster: In Spring 1998, Stephanie's first collection of poetry--which is inspired by Alice in Wonderland--will be published by Vehicule Press. Her work recently appeared in Descant and Prairie Fire and is forthcoming from Prairie Schooner and the Cream City Review. She was included in the anthology Breathing Fire: Canada's New Poets and won the Bronwen Wallace Award for 1996. Born and raised in Vancouver, she now lives and teaches writing in Ottawa.

Bill Gaston: Having turned pro as a funny man, Bill is now turning his attentions to running a creative writing program, the Fiddlehead, not promoting his new book Bella Combe Journal and getting his hair to stay flat. Please sent liquor.

Brian David Johnston: Brian lives on the ledge in Cambridge Ontario. He is the former publisher of The Hungry Zipper, an apprentice procrastinator and the owner of a dazedimagination (not a bad word at all). Brian has a fascination with flowering zippers and unusual arrangements.

Monty Reid: Monty lives in the Alberta Badlands and is the Assistant Director of the Royal Tyrell Museum. His poetry has been published in Equinox, Malahat Review, The Fiddlehead, Quarry, Earth and others. His most recent book is Dog Sleeps (NeWest Press).

Jay Ruzesky: Jay lives in Victoria B.C. His work has appeared in Canadian and American journals such as Caliban, Prism International, Canadian Literature, Event, Saturday Night, Border Crossings, and Poetry Northwest. His books include Blue Himalayan Poppies, Painting The Yellow House Blue, Am I Glad to See You, and What was Left on James Dean. He is on the editorial board of the Malahat Review and teaches at Malaspina University-College.
