Theatre Research in Canada / Recherches théâtrales au Canada is looking for submissions that use the full range of critical and historical approaches applied to the study of theatre as a multidisciplinary art, in the context of the cultures of Canada and Québec. For our Forum Section we will consider position papers, commentary on issues of significance to the journal's mandate, information about new and old projects, and research notes. We will also consider the publication of fully annotated documentary evidence, normally appended to articles.

All submissions are refereed. Full articles should normally be no longer than 5,000 words, typed double-spaced, following the internal editorial style of Joseph Gibaldi, MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (New York: Modern Language Association). Please submit four copies. If accepted, final copy must be submitted on disk, in MS-DOS or Windows and Wordperfect, and accompanied by a printout. Endnotes should be typed at the end of the essay. All published articles will be included on our electronic website.

Recherches théâtrales au Canada reçoit des articles portant sur le théâtre, art multidisciplinaire, créé et produit dans le contexte des cultures canadienne et québécoise. Ces articles seront écrit à partir d'approches théoriques, historiques et critiques variées. La revue publiera, dans la section Forum, des articles d'opinion, des commentaires articulés autour des orientations mêmes de la revue, des informations sur des projets de recherches récents et plus anciens, de même que des notes de recherche. Des documents commentés, habituellement annexés aux articles, pourront aussi y figurer.

Tous les articles sont évalués. Dactylographié à double interligne, votre article ne devrait pas normalement dépasser les 5000 mots et devrait inclure entre parenthèses, les indications bibliographiques renvoyant à une liste d'ouvrages cité. Les notes explicatives, lorsqu'elles sont nécessaire sont placées séparément à la fin. L'envoyer en quatre exemplaires. S'il est accepté, il sera soumis sur disque (Wordperfect MS-DOS ou Windows) avec sa copie imprimé. Tous les articles publiés apparaîtront à notre site web.
