The Centre for Enhanced Teaching and Learning seeks to enhance the quality of learning at UNB by:

* Recognizing, supporting and promoting excellent teaching and helping UNB’s teachers provide the most valuable and effective learning experience for all students;

* Providing services to support the instructional development initiatives of UNB’s teachers;

* Offering resources, consultation and a forum for discussion to promote a lifelong learning culture where continuous improvement in teaching is valued, encouraged and rewarded.

The TLC is responsive, collaborative, consultative and facilitating.  It encourages faculty to deepen their understanding of and renew their enthusiasm for teaching by pursuing professional development activities on a continuous basis.
