Scope and content: This series includes various issues of UNB and other periodicals as well as several files of newspaper clippings relating to Lucy Jarvis personally and to art in general. The UNB material includes the inaugural issues of two literary magazines, Hilltop (April 1948) where Lucy Jarvis is listed as 'art advisor' and The Wedge (undated) which includes work by Fred Cogswell and Dalton Camp. Also included are various issues of the Brunswickan, Perspectives, and Alumni News which contain reports or articles about Lucy Jarvis and/or the Art Centre. An issue of the Nova Scotia Art Teachers Association Journal (February 1986) is dedicated to the memory of Lucy Jarvis and her work appears on its cover. Art-related clippings include pieces on Pegi Nicol MacLeod, Goodridge Roberts, the UNB Art Centre, and an article by Tappan Adney regarding the fiddlehead motif.
