Dr. Pacey published several short stories in various Canadian journals. In 1958 Ryerson Press published the collection The Picnic and Other Stories, followed by the 1974 publication of Waken, Lords and Ladies Gay: the Selected Short Stories of Desmond Pacey.
This series consists of alphabetically arranged files of short stories published by Dr. Pacey between the late nineteen thirties and his death in 1975. Included are manuscripts and typescripts, offprints from journal publications, and full issues of journals containing Pacey's short stories.
