Male-Female Dating Relationships in Canadian Universities and Colleges (1992)

In the Spring of 1992, the Institute for Social Research (ISR) at York University was contracted by Drs. Walter DeKeseredy and Katharine Kelly of Carleton University to assist in the conduct of their national study on Male-Female Dating Relationships in Canadian Universities and Colleges. With funding from the Family Violence Prevention Division in the Social Service Programs Branch of Health and Welfare Canada, the principal investigators were seeking to determine the incidence, prevalence and sociodemographic correlates of the physical, psychological and sexual abuse of women in university and college dating relationships. The survey was administered in both of Canada's official languages.
