DMTI Geospatial Data Bundle
For UNB Libraries
There are six components included in the DMTI Academic Agreement. The following
products have been made available under licence to authorized students, faculty and
staff of UNB Libraries. Each product in the DMTI Geospatial Data Bundle is
described below with a representative example of the data as used in a GIS
application:
CANADIAN ATLAS
MAP: The Canadian Atlas Map Bundle
CAMB is an integrated database of topographic maps consisting of
the National Atlas Information Services (NAIS) 1:2, 1:7.5, 1:30 million
scale maps, and the Canadian Geographical Names Database (CGNDB).

CANMAP
STREETFILES: Canadian digital street map data.
The production of digital map data is dependent on the availability of
data from numerous sources. DMTI Spatial endeavours to provide coverage to
the fullest extent possible where source data is available. All CanMap
Boundaries include Land Area calculated by DMTI Spatial and Population and
Dwelling Counts from the Statistics Canada 1996 Census.
Coverage: National
Currency: Quarterly, semi-annual, or annual maintenance available
Scale: 1:50,000
Projection: Unprojected latitude, longitude
Datum: NAD83
Formats: Autodesk MapGuide, ESRI and MapInfo
What does it look like? Example
