DNR

DNR Data Selection

You may select the DNR files that you wish to download using the File Names pick list

Use the layer check-boxes to select which coverages you would like to receive per DNR tile. These files will be e00 (ArcInfo), but can be imported as ArcView 3.x files by using ESRI's Import or Import71.

Multiple selections can be made by using the Ctrl or Shift keys while clicking on the property management unit pick lists. If you want to delete any files from the selection list, follow the same procedure. Once you are satisfied with the file selection, click on the Download button to begin downloading.

DWA02 762 Deer Wintering Area (DWA) land base for Crown land as finalised for the 2002 Crown Management Plans for Crown Timber Licences
Ecosite 1860 The ecosite coverages are graphical representations of the ecological classification including ecoregion, ecodistrict, ecosection, and ecosite classifications
Forestry 1893 Forest Development Survey providing complete coverage of the province except for restricted land ownership
Holder 1893 Graphical representation of holder info as found in forest layer

Line 1860 Graphic representations of single line features, including roads, streams, transmission lines, and railways, as determined through the DNR interpretation process.
OSFH02 407 Old Spruce-Fir Habitat (OSFH) blocks for Crown lands
Soil 1876 Graphical representations of the soils and drainage classes for NB



ELC 1 Ecological Land Classification (ELC):  provincial coverage showing the regions, districts and sections for the ecological land classification for New Brunswick
PNA 1 Protected Natural Area coverage which contains the ten representative protected areas for New Brunswick, Conservation areas and Ecological Reserves.
