Publications which are issued at least twice a year, including journals, magazines, and newspapers are called periodicals. "Current periodicals" are those which have recently arrived. At the UNB Libraries, they are on open shelves on the Current Periodicals areas of the Harriet Irving Library Law, Engineering and Science & Forestry branches. "Bound periodicals" are back issues that are shelved in the General Book Stacks with the regular collection in the Harriet Irving Library, and in the bound periodicals section of the Engineering and Science & Forestry libraries.
