Series 3. Literary correspondence, agreements, publication records and notes. -- 1927-1964. -- 12 cm. of textual records.

Scope and Content: This series documents the dealings Louis Arthur Cunningham, and his widow, had with publishers in Canada, the United States and Great Britain. In addition to correspondence and legal agreements, it includes the Cunninghams' records of manuscripts submitted, accepted or rejected, and prices paid. The "Credo" is a typescript statement, later published as a newspaper article, of L.A. Cunningham's personal philosophy of writing.
