Scope and content: This subseries contains communications from Dorothy Gregg and Milton Gregg to their daughter, Eleanore Gregg Grant and to Dorothy's sisters, Jane (Jen), Charlotte and Blanche. Topics discussed include regimental activities, the Gregg' life in England during World War II, their life in Indonesia and Iraq, Dorothy's war work, and Milton's military and diplomatic activities as well as personal matters. Letters and memos from Milton Gregg to Charlotte Alward (1961-1963) offer details about his work with UNICEF in Indonesia. This subseries also includes a few letters to Jane Alward from Billie and to the Alward siblings from non-family members.
