Series 1: OCSA Operational Records. -- 1964-2011. -- 62 cm of textual records.

Scope and Content: This series documents the internal operations of the OCSA and their links with external bodies such as the SRC and the Chinese Students Union of Canada, as well as providing details about the social and cultural events they sponsored.

Included in these files are annual reports, minutes, newsletters, correspondence, posters, programs, budgets and questionnaires. Minutes are those of the executive committee, who then issued newsletters to inform the broader membership of decisions made and upcoming events. There is also a history of the OCSA written by Dr. Lister, and a list of former presidents (file 60). Records of the contributors to a time capsule which was deposited in the UNB Archives (March 2000) are also found in this series (File 62).

Arrangement is roughly chronological.

Notes:
Title: Title is based on contents of the series.

Restriction: Textual records are restricted for thirty years from the date of their creation. Access in this time period is only with written permission of the current President of the OCSA. Publication rights are retained by the OCSA on all records of their association, both textual and graphic.
