Series 6, sub-series 3: Scrapbooks Compiled by Elizabeth Estabrooks Palmer. -- 1879 - 1900 -- 7 cm of textual material.

Biographical Sketch: Elizabeth Estabrooks Palmer was born in1829, the daughter of Jarvis and Deborah Estabrooks. She married Isaac Ambrose Palmer a second cousin to H.H. Stuart. Elizabeth Palmer achieved some recognition as a writer of verse. In 1889 the Fredericton Reporter Office published her Selected Poems. She died in 1903.

Scope and Content: This sub-series contains two scrapbooks which appear to have been compiled by Elizabeth Estabrooks Palmer.While her name is indicated only in the first scrapbook, the second one is of a similar nature, and can be attributed to her. The first scrapbook contains a variety of items, including many clippings about royalty and literary figures. The second scrapbook is a collection of poetry which includes the work of many well known Canadian poets.

Arrangement is roughly chronological.
