Early professional activities [textual record]. -- 1857-1895. -- 13 cm of textual record

Scope and content: This series contains reports, memoranda, contracts, specifications, estimates, and minutes pertaining to the building of the Santos and São Paulo Railway, European and North American Railway, Intercolonial Railway, New Brunswick Railway and Quebec and New Brunswick Railway.

It also includes Ketchum's 1876 report on the sources of water supply for the city of Fredericton and an engineering notebook, possibly used by Ketchum while a student at King's, containing notes, diagrams and calculations relating to railway construction.
